About us
Living life without a detrimental effect to our planet has been a constant topic of conversation for the five 40-something authors of this blog over the past few years.

We've been swapping our tales, fails, and frustrations about our quests for environmentally friendly, conscious and sustainable living. Each in a different part of the country, each with a different home-life, each with a different approach, but all with the same desire, to do what we can. We're sharing our own experiences, conducting our own research and discovering things as we go.

We all know we could be doing more. We all know there are huge changes we could make to make a bigger difference. We know we will probably fail. Our hope for this blog is that we can keep sharing what we learn with each other, and with you, so that we may all do a little better, one day at a time.
Meet the team
Rebecca
Digital designer by trade. I'm outdoorsy in the summer and crafty in the Winter. There isn't a hobby I haven't tried.
I get stressed out trying to live sustainably. I have tried and failed to be vegetarian, paleo, plastic free, sugar free and caffeine free. I try to only buy sustainable clothing.
Sophie
Probably not your average consumer because I don't buy much.
I don't know the answers but I'm asking the questions and trying my best to do the right thing by the planet. It really shouldn't be this hard.
My values/priorities, in no particular order, are: Environment, Animal welfare, Disability issues.
