B Corp Month 2025 - Shopping Guide

Looking out for the B-Corp logo on brand websites is one of the easiest ways to choose to shop with brands which are actively taking steps to be more sustainable.
Anyone showing the 'Certified B-Corp' logo has been 'verified by B Lab to meet high standards of social and environmental performance, transparency and accountability', which means that experts on this stuff have assessed the companies activities, and only those above a certain threshold get to display the mark. It is a sliding scale though, so even those with the mark, may still have work to do, but they have to keep it up to keep the mark, and it's not an easy process, so you know they're serious about sustainability if they have it.
The directory interface could be a bit more user friendly, I think, but you can find the full list of B Corps HERE.
To get you started, here are some of my favourites, that I regularly use, and some I'm familiar with but haven't bought from yet:
Cleaning
Bower Collective - We use their refillable washing up liquid, toilet cleaner, handwash and limescale remover, with lots more on offer.
Neat - Love their concentrated refills of the best smelling multi-surface spray, foaming handwash, bathroom spray and foaming toilet cleaner.
Smol - We use their washing up liquid, laundry capsules, fabric conditioner, stain remover and dishwasher tablets,
Seep - The best longest lasting plastic free sponge scourers and rubber gloves I've found.
The Cheeky Panda - We use their plastic free bamboo toilet roll and tissues.
Also check out; Spruce, Homethings, Delphis
Health
Novomins - I use their Night-Time Gummies, which do help me get to sleep a little easier.
L'Occitane - Love their hand creams and soap bars.
Rheal Superfoods - I take their Balance Tonic to try and help with perimenopause symptoms.
Elemis - I'm trying their Pro-Collagen Range.
Also check out; Neom, Wild Nutrition, Elemis
Household
Brabantia - Always a great blend of form and function. Our rotary washing line is worth every penny.
Plank Hardware - Our simple and beautiful satin brass kitchen tap is from Plank and their cabinet handwear is just dreamy.
Dock & Bay - Love my D&B space saving towel for holidays.
World of Books - books are homewares, right? This is our first stop for second hand, and new books, and nearly always has what we want. Choose how well used you want your used books and pay accordingly.
Also check out; Nkuku, Lick Paint, Coat Paints, Procook, Secret Linen Store, Ethical Bedding, House of Hackney
Food & Drink
Baileys - As if I needed a reason to love Baileys more!
Warners - Lovely flavoured gin and now spiced rum and 0% versions as well.
Bol foods - My go to for pre-made lunch soup or noodle pots. Proper - Popcorn and snacks. Love the Cinnamon and the peanut butter flavours.
Also check out; Oddbox, Ecotone UK
Pets
Applaws - Fussy Pablo cat is a fan of their fish in broth selection, and I like to be able to wash up and recycle the little tins.
Lilys Kitchen - Rocky cat loved their senior wet cat food and biscuits, until of course he didn't, but he probably will again. Cats!
Scrumbles - Many a foster cat when mad for this stuff, and ours loved the salmon biscuits...until of course they didn't!
Clothing
Allbirds - My go to trainers, light and super comfortable.
The emptiness of this section says a LOT about affordable sustainable clothing! There's several luxury brands with the mark, as well as a few resale and hire sites, but no UK high-street brands.

So there you go, a quick start guide to B Corps to buy from. Are you already using any of these brands? Will you switch?
