Eco bathroom cleaners - when the brands we've loved aren't keeping pace

Something happened over the last decade. Somewhere between 30 and 40 I became a Flash Bathroom user. I associated the smell with clean and I no longer just went with the 'on offer' bathroom cleaner of my 20s. If pushed on what happened to change me, I'd hazard becoming a home owner.
In the last couple of years I set myself a challenge - a plastic free bathroom - I'm yet to achieve this, but that's for another post. I am making gradual changes though, and during lockdown my attention turned to my bathroom cleaner. The Flash commitment to the environment does show that my bottle might well be made from 50% recycled plastic and is in itself recyclable...but we know, sooner rather than later, that cycle will stop and it will become waste. What I wanted was a plastic free, or much reduced plastic, refill, but it seems Flash isn't there yet.
Cif, however, is. I have to keep reminding myself that I should be driven by the environment not by habit and by brand loyalty, so I purchased a Cif Eco Refill Power & Shine Bathroom, thinking I'd be able to fill my Flash spray bottle with it. I couldn't. So I bought the Cif Power & Shine Bathroom spray as well, and just like that the Flash is gone.
Actually, I rather like Cif. Smell is good. Cleans well. I guess I'm a Cif girl now, at least for the time being anyway. Plastic first, chemicals next.
